Josh Andres is a Los Angeles–based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer known for his distinctive fusion of orchestral, jazz, electronic, and alternative styles. A classically trained musician, Josh began his artistic journey at the Juilliard School in New York City, and since stepping into the music scene in 2014, he has consistently pushed the boundaries of genre, creating emotionally resonant and sonically adventurous compositions.
Formerly known under the stage name STATIK LNK, Josh transitioned to releasing music under his legal name in 2023—a move that marked a new chapter in his evolving artistry. His music draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of influences, including Bernard Hermann, Quincy Jones, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and Daft Punk, BadBadNotGood, Kamasi Washington, and Terrace Martin, resulting in rich, cinematic soundscapes that defy convention.
Josh’s work has been featured in high-profile productions for Fox Networks, Netflix, HBO, Viacom, and more, and he has graced major festival stages such as Governors Ball, 808 Fest, and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). His collaborations with top industry brands like Pioneer, Roland, Serato, Monster Energy, and Samsung highlight his versatility and influence across both creative and commercial spheres.
