Eric “Doc” Mendelsohn is a Brooklyn-born singer, songwriter, producer and live performer with more than ten years of international touring experience. He has played everywhere from nightclubs to arenas and brings real-world insight shaped by years on the road. Before entering the industry full-time, Doc developed his craft as both a guitarist and guitar tech, earning his nickname by repairing, modifying and even building instruments from scratch. He later deepened his musical foundation at William Paterson University, combining formal training with hands-on experience as a touring musician fresh out of college.
Doc’s professional path includes multiple label signings, millions of streams across major platforms and an active career as a producer specializing in Ableton Live. His current project, Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue, is a Funk and RnB driven outfit performing regularly at top New York City venues. His technical expertise expanded during his time working as a guitar tech for Cherub, and in the past two years he has toured extensively with Des Rocs as bassist and musical director, performing across the United States, Canada and Europe and opening for artists such as The Rolling Stones and Muse. At Sound Collective, Doc brings this wide-ranging experience directly into the classroom, helping students build musicianship, performance confidence and practical knowledge of modern production and live setups.
