Rosemary Minkler is a Connecticut based pianist, composer, audio engineer, and producer whose versatility has made her an in-demand collaborator across recording studios, live settings, and modern music production. Currently based in Stamford, she works as a freelance audio engineer, teaches keyboard and music production at Sound Collective, and regularly partners with fellow artists on creative projects. Her work has also led to collaborations with companies such as Nord Keyboards, Korg, and Antares Audio Technologies, and she has released multiple projects both as a solo artist and with her trio.
Born and raised in Waterbury, Rosemary grew up immersed in music and began studying piano at an early age, eventually discovering a deep passion for jazz through the Litchfield Jazz Camp. She went on to earn a full scholarship to Western Connecticut State University, graduating with a degree in Audio and Music Production and a concentration in Jazz Piano. During her time there, she studied closely with acclaimed saxophonist Jimmy Greene and honed her engineering skills at a local recording studio, experiences that shaped her blend of musicality, technical craft, and expressive performance. At Sound Collective, Rosemary draws from this wide-ranging background to help students develop strong musicianship, creative instincts, and a confident workflow, whether they’re producing, engineering, or bringing ideas to life at the keyboard.
