French producer based in NY. Kimchi is known for his use of samples and head-knocking drums. He’s done work for several brands such as Jagermeister, Redbull and Snoop Dogg’s Rap Empire. In this course Kimchi explains how to use the Maschine for finger drumming. In 20 lessons, Kimchi takes you through the steps to get yourself ready to finger drum live.

Preparing Your Samples
In this step, Kimchi demonstrates how to choose samples, loading and retriggering samples, EQ and time stretching, and his preferred way of chopping.

In this step, Kimchi discusses drum selection, drum placement, the overview of the drum mixer, sidechain, and compression.

Preparing Your Performance
In this step, Kimchi discusses sample placement, getting familiar with your chops, drums, and samples.
