Biography

OMGPRKR is a Brooklyn-based electronic producer and DJ originally from Nashville, Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business and Audio Production from Belmont University, where he began building his career working in recording studios and clubs throughout Nashville. Now based in New York City, OMGPRKR produces a wide range of electronic styles including bass, electro, tech, and future house, while maintaining a strong presence in the city’s nightlife scene as a club DJ. In addition to his work as an artist, he promotes events through his company Shatterproof NYC and collaborates closely with venues and creatives across the electronic music community.
At Sound Collective, OMGPRKR brings a practical, club-driven perspective to electronic music production and DJing. His teaching focuses on modern electronic workflows, genre-specific production techniques, and translating creative ideas into polished, performance-ready tracks. Drawing from real-world experience in clubs, events, and studio environments, he helps students develop both technical fluency and a clear artistic identity, preparing them to release music, perform confidently, and navigate today’s electronic music ecosystem.
