Bob Burke is a New York City–based composer and songwriter with nearly 35 years of experience creating music across a variety of genres. Born in the Bronx, raised in Queens, and a longtime Manhattan resident, he has composed, arranged, and produced original works for both professional and educational settings, collaborating with numerous artists and projects that showcase his technical skill and creative versatility.

At Sound Collective, Bob brings decades of experience in composition and songwriting to guide students in developing their own musical voice. His teaching emphasizes strong fundamentals in theory and arrangement while fostering creativity and practical workflow, enabling students to compose, produce, and refine music from concept to polished work. Students leave with a deeper understanding of song structure, orchestration, and composition techniques applicable across multiple genres.
