About Course
Studio Vocals is a practical, studio-focused course designed to help singers feel confident, consistent, and expressive in professional recording environments. Students learn how to prepare for sessions, perform effectively on the microphone, collaborate with producers and engineers, and make creative vocal decisions that translate into polished recordings.
By the end of the course, students will complete a fully produced vocal recording, gaining real-world experience with recording, comping, editing, and vocal styling suitable for demos, releases, or collaborations.
- Studio Fundamentals & Vocal Preparation
Understand studio workflows, vocal readiness, and session etiquette.
- Microphone Technique & Performance Control
Develop consistent mic technique, dynamics, and tone across takes.
- Recording Takes & Comping
Record multiple passes and participate in building a final vocal from strong performances.
- Editing & Pitch Correction Basics
Learn how timing edits and tuning support clean, intentional vocals.
- Creative Vocal Production
Explore doubles, harmonies, ad-libs, and texture layers.
- FX, Mixing & Final Vocal Presentation
Shape vocals using reverb, delay, compression, and EQ to match genre and style.
