Mixing Basics (FREE WORKSHOP)

Mixing Basics is a free, hands-on workshop that gives you a real introduction to what mixing actually involves. Hosted in Sound Collective’s New York City studios, this two-hour session focuses on learning to hear a mix critically, and gives you the tools and environment to start developing that ear. You’ll work with professional equipment alongside experienced instructors, move through a focused exercise, and come away with a clear sense of what mixing is and what it takes to get good at it. The Mixing Basics workshop is designed to give you a genuine first experience, not an overview.
