LEFTI is the musical alias of Alexandro Suarez, a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and label owner whose dynamic sound fuses timeless house grooves with modern dancefloor energy. With over 20 years behind the decks, LEFTI’s deep-rooted passion for DJing and live performance has established him as a commanding presence in clubs and on festival stages around the world.
Originally from Florida, Alex began his music journey while pursuing a career in culinary arts, but quickly transitioned to touring as a professional bassist. His immersion in Miami’s vibrant nightlife scene sparked a love for DJing, which soon became a full-fledged career. After more than a decade of touring globally as a musician, he shifted focus to the studio in 2013, building a career as a songwriter, producer, and creative force in sync and licensing, while developing his artist project, LEFTI.
As a producer, LEFTI has racked up an impressive list of releases on premier dance music labels such as DVINE Sounds, Golden Recordings, Toolroom, Nervous Records, Farris Wheel Recordings, and Kittball Records. His 2025 release "Deep Down" on DVINE Sounds / Defected Records became a breakout hit, reaching #1 on Traxsource’s Tech House chart, the Top 20 overall, and the Top 25 on Beatport's Tech House chart.
In 2021, LEFTI launched his own label, Quincy Boy Records, providing a platform for his own music and an ever-growing community of forward-thinking artists. Known for a signature style that blends classic house textures with crisp, modern production, LEFTI has also produced official remixes for major labels and artists, showcasing his versatility across the dance music spectrum.
Whether he's crafting infectious club records, mentoring upcoming producers, or lighting up the DJ booth, LEFTI (Alex Suarez) continues to shape the sound of modern house music, driven by passion, precision, and a left-handed flair.
