Morsy is a Billboard-charting music producer, audio engineer, and professional DJ with a long-running catalog on some of dance music’s most respected labels. Born and raised in New York City, he grew up surrounded by the city’s energy and sound, which shaped his style and career from the start. For nearly twenty years he has toured internationally, performing at underground raves, major nightclubs, and outdoor festivals across the globe. His live work has placed him alongside artists like Todd Terry, Moby, DJ AM, Steve Aoki, John Legend, and Camila Cabello, with features in Rolling Stone, Details, and Esquire highlighting his reach in the industry.
Since 2006, Morsy has released music with iconic labels including Strictly Rhythm, Nervous Records, King Street Sounds, and 418 Music. In 2018 he earned his first Billboard Dance Top 20 record for “Pride” featuring Amber Skyes, and was recognized by Billboard as the number five Breakout Artist of the year.
As a DJ and event performer, Morsy has played at high-profile events including the TONY Awards, the Grammy Nominations, and celebrity gatherings for brands like Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Marvel, and Netflix. His live credits include sharing stages with legends like Tony Bennett, and global hitmakers such as Steve Aoki, Camila Cabello, and Moby.
Morsy's music journey began with an internship at Def Jam Records, where he helped promote major artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna. Today, he releases music on top dance labels, consistently landing on the charts, and serves as a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammys).
Since 2021, Morsy has been an instructor at Sound Collective, where he teaches audio engineering and DJ performance. With years of real-world experience across the music and entertainment industries, Morsy brings a practical, forward-thinking approach to the classroom—empowering students to build the skills they need to thrive in today’s evolving music landscape.
