DJ Esquire is a Brooklyn-based DJ, battle champion, and educator with over 25 years of experience in the art of turntablism and live performance. Renowned for his technical precision, stage presence, and versatility, Esquire has built a decorated career spanning radio shows, club residencies, international competitions, and high-profile events.
A 5x World Finalist and 5x National DJ Champion, Esquire’s accolades include winning the 2013 DMC USA Championship, 2012 DMC USA Battle for Supremacy, and the 2012 IDA USA title. His skills have earned him global respect in the competitive DJ community and consistent recognition for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with turntables.
Esquire has performed alongside a diverse list of iconic artists, including Jay-Z, Coldplay, Run-DMC, Kanye West, Metallica, Pearl Jam, and DJ Tiesto, proving his adaptability across genres and stages—from underground showcases to massive festival crowds. His corporate clientele includes brands like MTV, HBO, Maxim Magazine, and Details Magazine, solidifying his presence as a go-to DJ for premium events.
Proudly endorsed by industry leaders Reloop and Ortofon, Esquire continues to compete at the highest level, recently placing in the Top 5 at both the 2021 DMC Battle for World Supremacy and the DMC USA Finals. When not behind the decks, he hosts “The Middle Finger Perspective” podcast, where he interviews elite DJs and shares insights into the culture and craft of DJing.
